NSFW Tribute to Photoshop

My candidate for the world's most beautiful ungulate, the saola of Laos and Vietnam. And how rare and precious it is.

TPM Anniversary Tribute

My candidate for a creakily-made Photoshop tribute to fandom in general, made by moi.

My candidate for a psychedelic Qui, a natural progression from his TPM image, crafted by mandybu

My candidate for a beautifully crafted banner by lealynnkenobi for the site Obidala Fan Forum, which selected my story, "Love and Pain and the Whole Damn Thing" for its Mod's Choice Award in February 2010.

My two candidates for Dark Horse Comics hunkiness in Star Wars. Sometimes, I wonder about me. Other times, I'm sure.

My candidate for an iconic illustration from one of my most cherished book series from childhood, the Young Folks Library. Only in 2010 did I learn that not only was the edition from 1952, but it was reprinted from 1902, so the tropes and just plain old-fashioned ideas that I have, I come by honestly.

My candidate for the most vividly remembered cover of a happy youth spent reading comics on my grandparents' back porch. Robin died, Batman cried; my world was rocked. And similarly, if I understand the term, this is the website that comes closest to 'raping my childhood': SuperdickeryDOTcom. Return with me to the thrilling days of yesteryear, the 1950's, 1960's and early 1970's, when comics filled many happy hours with images and dialogue and heart-wrenching dilemmas for Batman, such as in the above story from 1963. Oh comics, I love you still.

I'm also reviewing movies on a small scale at IMdB here.

In 2005, I never thought in my wildest dreams that someone would either write a story or do art for me, personally, so the AU version of Qui and Obi's future ten years after The Phantom Menace and the Scene That Did Not Happen is dedicated with humility to: imadra_blue, elthegeneral, buff_iroh, albumsontheside, tickles_ivory, inyadreems, citizenjess, patientalien, mandybu, ansketil_rose, lealynnkenobi, wyncatastrophe, caffeinatedkate, mya_scarlet, grapemartini, ruthbaulding, jedibuttercup, estora, and motetus in chronological order of their gifts. Thanks so much.

Hello, folks. This is the same profile for pronker as on An Archive Of Our Own (Organization for Transformative Works.com); FFN; on TFN; on deviantart.com; on skyehawke.com; on mediaminer.org; on adultfanfiction.net; on lunaescence.com; on fan-nation-shades-of-midnight.net; on fanfic.me and Photobucket the name is pronker_2008 and on YouTube and ebay I am pronkerpronker; and finally, on Forcehaven.com I am sk5231. I am a copywriter looking to master Photoshop and animation now. I am the Ferus Olin of LiveJournal. I have only been on the computer since 12-05 and have been having such darn fun!

From the mouth of Tiresias regarding the creative process, as channeled through co-authors Leon Garfield and Edward Blishen in the lyrical retelling of the Greek Myths, The Golden Shadow:

"What was the real truth of it all? Housekeepers' tales and his own longing for the world to be larger and more mysterious than it was. However brightly everything shone in his mind, in his hands it crumbled to dust."

For my son, my Youngest: “Somewhere behind the athlete you’ve become and the hours of practice and the coaches who have pushed you is the little boy who fell in love with sports and never looked back ... play for him.”

For my daughter, mother of my grandson: I could no more handle your busy lifestyle than I could fly. More power to you! And more time for Grandson. He's really worth it. /dissonance
